with my parents
for 18 years
to finish high school.

with my husband

to finish my married life.
I have lived
with my cat Nana
for more than 19 years.
She understands
my feelings: joy/sadness,
and expresses herself
with her eyes, ears, tail
and forepaw.
Am I responding
to her understanding,
to her love without words?
